Teaser Tuesday: THE HUNGER GAMES

Here's my teaser from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

An argument breaks out until one tribute silences the others. "We're wasting time! I'll go finish her and let's move on!"
I almost fall out of the tree. The voice belongs to Peeta.

PS -
I didn't know that Suzanne Collins was a writer for "The Secret World of Alex Mack". I *TOTALLY* watched that show in the '90s! Yay Nickelodeon!

    Omygoodness, you could not have picked a better teaser if you tried. I love this scene! It's like the beginning of 'Katniss: The Conspiracy Theorist'.

    oh wow! intriguing teaser! i recently bought myself a copy and i plan on skipping it up my reading list so i can see what it's all about. it sounds wonderful!

    Ooh loved that book! Alex Mack was definitely one of my favorite shows. I loved that and Hey Dude, Clarissa explains it all, Salute Your Shorts, and oh gosh I could go on. lol. I feel old! Those shows were cool though. Much better than the crap they have on now!
