6 Weeks Till BEA - WHO'S GOING??

Hey all!
I calculate about 6 weeks until Book Expo America 2011!!!And I am super pumped because, if all goes well and there aren't any hiccups, I'll be in New York to attend. It was my family's graduation gift to me, and I seriously cannot wait! Like I said, unless anything unexpected happens, I'm planning on being there.

Is anybody else going to BEA this year? Has anybody been before? If so, do share your experiences!! Is there any bit of advice that you'd like to pass on?This is apparently what it looks like!!

    I'm jelous! I really wanted to go to BEA but I can't. You'll get to meet so many authors (not to mention all the free ARCs) and so many other bloggers! I hope you have a great time!

    I went last year & I think I'll do this year, too.

    1) Were comfy clothes & shoes.
    2) Bring a bottle of water.
    3) Bring a small piece of luggage to the conference to stash all the books in. YOU WILL GET TONS!!!
    4) In your BEA bag, bring snacks -- protein bars, granola bars, bananas, whatever. If you want a snack outside of Javits, it will cost you triple for a hot dog & a soda. I was shocked at the price increase.
    5) Try to have a vague plan of what you want to see/do while there. Otherwise, it's overwhelming.
    6) If you have a buddy going or to meet up with, that's even better.
    7) HAVE FUN!!!
