Cover Wars [4]

It's a little early, but I thought I'd go ahead and post!

Cover Wars is a weekly meme (I run mine on Wednesday, but it can be any day) where you pick your current read - or any other fun book - and try and find as many different cover editions as you can!

I decided to pick the current series I'm reading - The Great Tree of Avalon.

Here are the American hardback editions (also the British, French, and Canadian edition)

Vs. the German editions

Hmm, I think I like the Original editions best :) And it's interesting, because sometimes every country will have a different edition, but the British, Canadian, and French versions all have the same cover designs as the American ones, and I only found different covers for the German editions - ja vold!

And as I promised last week, here's the Mr. Linky!

11 shout-outs!:

Actually, I prefer the American versions. Sometimes, the more simpler covers the better.

I definitely like the American ones better :D

I've seen this series at the library a hundred times, but I haven't picked it up. Can't wait to hear what you think of them!

I've gotta say, the American version is a little more eye-catching, at least for me!

Yes, American for me as well!

Well, thought I was a non-memer but here I am digging two and from the same blog! This is a meme I'd like to do also---Always loved seeing different versions of book covers. Can I do this meme as well? What is the protocol? Do I just say 'this meme hosted by Imagination in focus' then cover war any books that tickle my fancy? What does Mr. Linky do? Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes! You can either pick the book you're reading or any other one you want! Sometimes books have like a bazillion different editions, and other times they may only have one.
The linky is optional, but that's just for me/others to see your post :D

Thanks, Amelia! My co-blogger left a comment to you on our blog explaining that she is the Aussie. We are both art lovers so this may be just the meme for us. Maybe a US vs OZ cover war.

Would you prefer us to only use the linky when we cover war a YA book?

Thanks for liking and following my blog!
