It would have made more sense if I'd posted this on Thursday, but we've got 2 months (less than 2 months now!) until Mockingjay hits stores!I just preordered mine a few minutes ago :) Can't go wrong with amazon
I'm probably the only person in the whole reading universe who hasn't read The Hunger Games and Catching Fire yet, but I know I will love them! I just know it. It's one of those "when you wish upon a star" things that's just certain. Why? Because of all the reliable feedback. For me, my beta-book testers are my brothers Hayden and Hutton (who used to read a lot but sadly don't much anymore), my cousin Kirby, and my roommate Lindsey. Oh, and Juju from Tales of Whimsy.
So...only 2 more months to go! It seems like just yesterday the pretty baby-blue cover was revealed. :)
Who's preordered their copies? Who's going to be busting through the doors on August 24th to grab a copy? And I haven't heard of any, but is anyone going to a release party?

I actually haven't read the first two books, even though I've them both on my shelf. I seriously don't know what am I waiting for and when am I really going to devour these. BUT - I've already pre-ordered my copy of Mockingjay (Go me!!). Yes, I know, crazy eh?

I've had my copy pre-ordered for some time now. I'm really hoping I'll get lucky and it'll arrive a few days earlier or at least the exact day of the release. I seriously can't wait and you seriously need to get started on them! :D
Oh you will totally love Collins series. I am so anxious for Mockingjay to come out and yes I have had it pre-ordered for months.
I only preordered my copy from Amazon last week. The good thing about Amazon is that I know I'll get it on the day the book comes out. Are you going to wait till August to read the first two books? I am currently rereading The Hunger Games.
My library sometimes has book release parties for the teens but they aren't doing one for Mockingjay. I don't know if it is as popular at the library as Twilight.

Hunger Games comes out in Paperback in July. I've been debating about getting the cheaper copy and waiting until the others eventually get to hardback, or just getting now...

I preordered mine several weeks ago after reading the first book. My library preordered Mockingjay but it had 22 holds already so I figured I'd just buy it! I've started Catching Fire and it's so good! I'm sure you'll love the books, too!
You definitely need to read the first two books! Catching Fire was outstanding and I'm now itching to read the last one. I'm probably going to just pick it up in stores, though I really should just preorder. Hmm...choices.
