While I'm reading, I make notes on my bookmark to help me write reviews, but I usually don't start the review until I'm finished reading.

I never thought about making notes on my bookmarks! Nice strategy. I end up folding a bunch of pages or putting a sticky note on them to mark crucial spots that I enjoyed or disliked.
