I'm sorry that you didn't like Chime. I got that one from the library this week. I'm not sure I'll like it either but I'll give it a try.

I like Max Lucado's children's books. I used to write freelance for Crossway (one of my friends works there and got me a temp job). I wrote the jacket copy for that edition of You Are Special so I got several copies for free. The Punchinello books are fantastic stories (my favorite is Your Special Gift). I've given copies to my young nephews and my mom reads them to her kindergarten class.

I look forward to seeing what you think of Awaken and Firelight. The Year We Were Famous sounds fantastic and I will definitely be reading it when the library gets a copy.

Poe is always good, and Max Lucado's story books are wonderful. I just checked Amazon's blurb for Awaken...sounds like a good premise. I look forward to reading your review.

I love POE!

On Chime I read the first 50 pages and gave up. Historical witches are not for me.
