I don't know why embedded comment boxes won't work though. Blogger should take care of that! I'm sure there are others having the same problem too.
Ah, I thought you'd removed commenting on purpose! :o Yeah, embedded commenting doesn't work on my blog, either, but I'm pretty sure it's more to do with the blog template being used than Blogger.
it's like the most random thing ever! One week it was working, the other week...nada. I totally thought it was me. Like wow I suck or something. :S
